“Lord I don't want to be deceived. What is the truth? Every religion says they have it and now I am confused.” That was my prayer 10 years ago, and the Lord answered that prayer by sovereignly arranging for me to work at the same restaurant with a believer full of truth and reality.
She spoke to me about Christ every day. She told me that I had a human spirit and that when I received Christ as my personal Savior, He would come into my spirit. To be a Christian was not a matter of conduct, but a matter of life, God's life. Jesus said, “I was the way, the truth, and the life...”(John 14:6). I feel like the truth set me free (John 12:32). Free from religious duties. Free to enjoy Christ in all His members of the Body. Free from condemnation. Free to enjoy the love, light, and fellowship in the Body of Christ.
